Evan Barlow shares a strong message on his newest track “Triumphant” featuring McBeth. Barlow uses his life story and struggles as an example to listeners on how to overcome obstacles. Recovering from drug addiction, Barlow encourages recovering addicts that have given up hope or have had hope given up on them.

“it’s you who controls your fate/What you become and how much you’ll make/And if you’re determined to shine and be the greatest/then you shall if you keep your patience,” he raps. McBeth sings on the chorus, “Even with the odds against us/Even though our goals seem far/We shall remain triumphant/‘cuz that’s just what we are.”

“Triumphant,” which is produced by Daniel Wentling and Andrew Hypes, features horns by Macklemore’s famous trumpet and trombone players Ouwor Arunga and Greg Kramer. Next up for Evan Barlow is his Fabrics EP, which is is due on Independence Day.
