For Dreezy "anything goes" when trying to win the affection of the one she's feeling. The Chicago rapper has been tapping into her sensual side lately, and her newest single "Close To You" is proof. The sentimental slow jam featuring T-Pain dropped yesterday (June 20), first premiering on Beats 1 Radio with Zane Lowe. Though she knows she should steer clear of the guy who's caught her eye, the lyrics of this song spell out Dreezy's intentions loud and clear.

"Said I was through it, but I really want him/His swagger got me falling like a leaf in autumn/And I don't give a damn about his baby mama/He always on my mind, I think I'm 'bout to call him/It might not last forever but it'll speed the healing/This ain't the same with him, I get a better feeling," she spits.

Young Dreezy has built up a reputation for herself as the princess of Chicago rap, usually known for spitting hard, boisterous bars. But now, she's clearly turning a new leaf musically, judging from her last two tracks. Aside from "Close To You," Dreezy has been pushing the radio single "Body" featuring Jeremih and her Gucci Mane-homecoming anthem, "We Gon' Ride." After years of grinding, is Dreezy finally finding commercial success? When XXL caught up with Dreezy for The Come Up, she expressed personal growth in her music and told us what was in store for the rest of 2016.

"Hopefully my album comes out this year. I’m going to do everything I can to get it out this year. Before my album comes out I want to drop a tape. I got everything planned. I’m doing everything I said I was going to do."
