Cousin Stizz remembers the struggles he went through before he found success in music. The Boston rapper takes a few minutes to contemplate the different turns his life could have taken on the new single "Coulda Been" produced by Tee-WaTT. Stizz's lyrics sees him looking back at just how rough some of the days were including a time he lost a close friend to cancer.

"Used to sell pot, in the pot I would piss/Used to be broke like one day we'll be rich/Used to see hope in the darkest abyss/Still shooting dice in the park with the fifth/I bought some guns so my niggas equipped/I gotta have it, get us out of this/I know what's coming, it's my only wish/Struggled so many days, thought I was gon' quit/Loss my lil homie, man, cancer a bitch/Gotcha name on me, I never forget," Cousin Stizz raps on the opening verse.

Fans can expect to see "Coulda Been" on the upcoming Cousin Stizz mixtape titled MONDA, which is due out in July. The project will serve as the follow-up to the Massachusetts rhymer's breakthrough release Suffolk County. With that in mind, Stizz definitely knows that the pressure is on to prove that Suffolk County was no fluke.

A new project's release won't be all in store for Cousin Stizz next month as he is also hitting the road for a short tour. The "Gain Green" rapper will headline four shows on the East Coast with Larry June as a supporting act. Check out the dates below.

July 19 - Philadelphia, Pa. - The Foundry
