Bodega Bamz is a gangster worthy of front page coverage in his video for "Kill Yo Self," which was directed by the Harlem rapper and Buttress, who contributed 35mm photography as well. The footage is shot almost entirely in black and white, save for an American flag that Bamz raps in front of. The imagery can be jarring, but matches the track's dark tone and subject matter, Bamz rapping, "Be careful with what you rappin / Cause really I love the action."

The song, which was produced by Da MVPZ, appears on Bodega Bamz's recently released All Eyez Off Me mixtape, which dropped at the top of the month. The 10 track offering features production by Streetrunner, Rugah Rahj, Splash Major, Frankie P, Tall Ted and P on the Boards among others, and is light on guest vocals.

In April of 2015, Bodega Bamz spoke with XXL about the strides he and others have made for the local New York hip-hop scene. "Being that we broke a lot of barriers, being that New York was in a shitty place three, four years ago, then you had a bunch of young niggas fuck shit up and now everyone is paying attention, I feel like everything we do has to be an improvement from the past," he said. "Sidewalk Exec is better than Strictly 4 My P.A.P.I.Z.. The videos that are coming out for Sidewalk Exec are better than the videos for Strictly 4 My P.A.P.I.Z. Everything I do now is to improve and push the envelope farther. I know that whether people want to pay homage or not, or if people want to say they got it from us or not, people are watching."
