Open Mike Eagle links up with director Ryan Calvano to create a music video for the single "Admitting the Endorphin Addiction." The video sees the rapper walking down the boardwalk before the living embodiment of addiction, Isis Avalos, captivates him with her dances moves. Fully under her spell, Open Mike Eagle takes a journey with addiction leading the way.

The video shows Open Mike Eagle following along as they cut through some streets, take to the beach and end up under an overpass. Waking up without a clue where he is, the MC views addiction's image again before following her down a dark path for a second time.

The song and video are a great match as "Admitting the Endorphin Addiction" examines the reasons people get high. Open Mike Eagle looks at a person who has come to understand the chemistry in their own brain.

"I chase my poison tail and get so high that voices fail/I heard that when you in a fucked up space no one can hear you signal help/I tried to set 'em straight/Tell them I self medicate/All they saw's a glitchy video but then I never show my cards/Instead I write for stealth /Blah blah blah, I cry for help /All this belly-aching's just to say my belly's hurting after all/It's all endorphins though/Or maybe every Scorpio is predisposed to never feel as cold as the first time they felt a loss," Open Mike Eagle raps.

The track appears on Open Mike Eagle's Hella Personal Film Festival, a collaboration album with producer Paul White. The project is available now on digital outlets.
