After revisiting his Maxo 187 tape for a music video to "1998," Maxo Kream is back with a brand new song. The Houston rapper's latest creation, "Spike Lee," sees him linking up with Atlanta rappers Playboi Carti and Rich The Kid. Maxo and Carti previously collaborated on the latter's 2015 single "Fetti" and linked up again when they got the chance.

"Me and Carti were in like three different cities together in like four days, and we finally got in the studio and he just hopped in the beef and killed this hoe," Maxo Kream said about working with Playboi Carti.

Maxo Kream also explained that he and Rich The Kid's fans have been demanding a collaboration, so they had to make it happen. The two got the opportunity when Rich was in Houston for a show.

"Me and Rich The Kid’s fans been blowing us up about a collab, but shit we had never met yet," the Texas MC said. "So when he was in Houston for a show with Lil Uzi Vert, we met up and set it up."

As for the track itself, all three rappers maneuver over a banging production crafted by Chuck Inglish.

"Water drip in faucets/I took it so he lost it/I only fuck with bosses/Key packs up in my closet/I'm G'd up like I'm golfing/I'm splashing like the dolphins/He sideline hating, talking/We put 'em in a coffin/Water drip in cool cups/In all he pushing tulips/Lil hot sauce, that's my shooter/And he don't give bout two fucks/Those molly's come in handy/She eating them like candy/She dripping out the xannies/Moesha need a Brandy," Maxo Kream raps on the opening verse.

Maxo Kream has not hinted at a new project being on the way, but he has released a few new records over the past six months. If "Spike Lee" catches on, it might be the right time for Maxo to put out an album or mixtape.
