Lil Wayne's long-rumored "Hype" remix debuted today (May 21) on OVO Sound Radio and you can hear the track below. Weezy came off on this.

A lotta people feel like Wayne reached back to the old days with this verse, while others feel like his voice is all fucked up on it. At the very least it's a good sign that these two are still on good terms, despite Wayne being absent from Views. Seems like all the turmoil at Cash Money hasn't deterred their friendship.

"I pull up on ya in that purple thing bumping Purple Rain singing 'Purple Rain' sippin' purple rain pouring champagne off commercial fame," says Weezy off the start, referencing both Prince's death and his recent string of Samsung commercials.

Despite his enduring relationship with Drake, Wayne still feels embittered toward Birdman and Cash Money, as evidenced by new footage of him yelling "Fuck Cash Money!" at a recent Denver show. Peep the video right here.
