Now this is what you call making a statement. David Banner releases the video for the single "Black Fist" off his upcoming album The God Box, and it's intense. So intense in nature that the Mississippi MC chose to put a disclaimer before the video which reads in part, "The intention of this video is not to promote violence, but to show that we as a people will no longer accept the loss of innocent Black Lives." And Banner really takes it there in the dark but needed visual for the pro-Black track which features Tito Lo.

The video starts with a cop sitting at home watching, and smiling at, news footage of how he just got off on killing a innocent Black man. Seconds later the tables turn when he answers a knock at the door and is kidnapped from his home and taken to an isolated area to get his real judgment. After being found guilty by a new jury of his peers, shit gets real.

A police dog is sicked on the officer who scrambles to get away. He is then forced to face his ill deeds by getting the piss stomped out of him by Banner and the ghosts of his victims. He later gets violently put out of his misery by the rapper turned activist.

Banner's new album The God Box is now slated to drop on Aug. 19. It features the previously released tracks, "Amy" featuring Trinidad James and "My Uzi" featuring Big K.R.I.T.
