Cousin Stizz made a name for himself last year with the release of his Suffolk County mixtape. Since then, it's been a steady rise for the Boston rapper as his profile continues to grow. Stizz is getting ready for his follow-up to Suffolk County, so it's only right that he drops a music video for the lead single "Gain Green." He even premiered it on Max B's birthday this past Saturday via OVO Radio. Smart man.

The video sees Cousin Stizz with his crew as they make moves to stack their bread and get some hundreds. On the Dumdrumz track, Stizz recalls his humble beginnings that led to the success he's experiencing today.

"Who that is, who you think, get the record straight/How you live, whatchu drank, you know I da bank/That's that kid from round the way in each and every state/Oh you see the vision now, man y'all n---as cray/Been on one, been on ten, man y'all n---as late/Way back when we had roaches on our dinner plate/So I've been through everything, this shit ain't by mistake," Cousin Stizz raps on the opening verse.

Although Cousin Stizz is all about the money, he's got some very noble plans. Last year, the Dorchester native told XXL he wanted to provide for his family and give back to the community center that helped him as a child.

"I want to make dope music for as long as I can," Cousin Stizz said. "I want to take care of my sisters and my mom and dad for as I long as I can. I definitely want to give back to Fields Corner and the community centers where I grew up. When I was growing up, we didn’t have shit in there so we went on different paths and fell into different things. Had we been more busy maybe we wouldn’t be doing a lot of those things."

Look out for Cousin Stizz's new project Monda, which is scheduled to drop this summer.
