Wara from the NBHD decides to revisit his If Guns Could Speak PSA album with a music video for the standout cut "Shotclock." The visuals match the harsh tone of the song as Wara presents a frenetic view of life on the streets.

The video opens up with a shot of Wara from the NBHD speaking to himself in the mirror. As things progress, the viewer sees him on rooftops running and rapping to match the frenzied pace of the track. Wara peers through peepholes and spurs on a mosh spit at a performance along the way. The abrasive production paired with style of the video perfectly captures the vibe before concluding one a lighter note. A smooth beat takes over as Wara and his crew are seen walking down the street.

The messages in  "Shotclock," as well as much of his music, are a way that Wara from the NBHD has stood out from the pack. He once told XXL that he's trying to bring back the essence of hip-hop.

"I feel like I’m one of those people who’s trying to bring back the whole essence of that making people feel like they can go back out again to get albums," Wara said. "When I was little and purchasing albums I was so into the artwork ‘cause I used to draw and I’m a really detail-driven person. One of my goals is to get people back to wanting to buy the whole package in its entirety. Not just the artist but the whole album and everything about the album."

Make sure to check out Wara's newest tracks "Death Match" and "Skin Tone" if you have not done so already.
