Earlier this week, Skepta released the cover art and release date for his long-awaited Konnichiwa album, raising anticipation today by dropping one of the album's 12 cuts, a track titled "Man (Gang)." On it, the UK rapper distances himself from would-be associates while flexing his own status simultaneously.

On the track's hook, he raps, "Told me you was a big fan / But the first thing you said when you saw me is can I get a pick for the Gram? / I was like no sorry man / I only socialize with the crew and the gang." Elsewhere, he says, "I used to rate your page on MySpace but you never stayed on track / Upset cause your wifey’s a fan, she done with the little boy now she wants to be with a man / Told my accountant do me a transfer cause I wanna buy some land."

Konnichiwa drops on May 6, with "Man (Gang)" joining previously released singles "Shutdown" and "Ladies Hit Squad," the latter of which features D Double and A$AP Nast. Pre-orders of Konnichiwa are now available via iTunes, with additional features coming courtesy of Pharrell, Novelist, Wiley and more. Noticeably absent from the tracklist is Drake, who has befriended Skepta recently and provides the intro on "Shutdown." A Drake-featured remix is of course always a possibility, especially since Views is dropping a week before Skeppy's album.

In the meantime though, listen to "Man (Gang)" up top and peep the Konnichiwa tracklist below.
