Inglewood-born artist SiR is back with a new single titled "Tricky." On the soulful record, the multi-talented artist sings about falling for the wrong person over a sweet bassline. What stands out about the record is the relatable song lyrics, which will hit home for most listeners. Produced by Rascal, the single follows SiR's fantastic Seven Sundays album that dropped last year. Just under three minutes, the silky smooth banger is the first song from SiR this year.

For many years prior to Seven Sundays, the dreadhead crooner was a singer and songwriter for today's biggest stars. Jill Scott, Robert Glasper, Tyrese and Bilal are some of the artists SiR has worked for. The West Coast native explained in a recent interview why he transitioned from songwriter to releasing music as a solo artist.

"As a writer sometimes you’re just writing, creating for the sake of creating and it got to the point where I had a whole bunch of records I loved and they weren’t placed, they weren’t finding homes," he said to Fact Mag. "I thought it’d be best to put them out for people to hear, just to get a response. There were two projects, before Seven Sundays, and I got a great response and nothing but love and support since I started to pursue that path as an artist."
