P Reign has been quiet since the release of his Off the Books tape in December, but that all changed today (April 27). The OVO Sound affiliate is back with a new record called "1000" produced by Bass Line.

The new song features P Reign speaking down on everyone who supposedly keeps it 100. In his mind, the Toronto is now keeping it 1000. P Reign employs a little AutoTune on the hook before going back to rhyming without it for each verse.

"We moving G's, we G'd up/Just dropped some G's and re'd up/Soon I bet they'll need us/I just kick back and kick my feet up/I know them boys will meet us/I can make them boys believe us/Yes lord, praise Jesus/Just copped the drop and pulled the seats up/And I just cut them rocks to freeze up/We young and popped the freezer/I bet them hoes won't leave us/My bitch brought friends that's down to team up/Bout to make a ring for G's up/It's gon' take all night to clean up/I'm a make it hard to keep up/We just live the life you dream of," P Reign raps on the opening verse.

Considering his ties to Drake, it comes as a bit of a surprise to see P Reign drop a new track during this week. All of the hype and anticipation currently surrounds Drake's album Views From the 6, which is scheduled to premiere on OVO Sound Radio tomorrow (April 28). Perhaps P Reign thought "1000" might be a good way to satiate fans who are desperately craving some new OVO material.
