Masta Ace Trades Bars in “Me and AG” Video

Masta Ace drops the visuals for his first single "Me and AG," off of his forthcoming solo album, The Falling Season.

In the music video, AG and Masta Ace trade bars while visuals for each line they spit appear. Jail cells, baseball brawls and concert footages are all spliced into the four-minute video. The lyrical gymnastics from AG and Ace on the Kic Beats-produced record is a testament to their skills they developed over the years.

"Me and AG go way back to The Castle (90s night club in the Bronx) days," Ace tells XXL. "We have been featured on a few songs together recently, so I already knew he would be a great fit on my album. As expected he delivered the goods and crushed his verse."

The Falling Season, which drops on May 13 and will be available in cassette and vinyl format on July 1, is a conceptual album that follows Ace through his high school years. The featured artists on the project include Chuck D, Cormega, A.G, Your Old Droog, Wordsworth, Stricklin, The World’s Famous Supreme Team, Queen Herawin, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Pearl Gates and Pav Bundy.
