Manolo Rose drops two new songs today off his upcoming project Soul of A Rose. "God Level" and "DFY (Dysfuntional Youth)" are the first offerings from the upcoming project that is produced entirely by Reazy Renegade.

"DFY (Dysfuntional Youth)" starts off with an eerie sample and goes into Manolo rapping about life as a kid and growing up in a distressed household. "I grew up without my pops/I only had my momma/My momma ain't give me hugs/My daddy ain't give a fuck/It made my heart cold," he begins over sinister keys. The record is a street banger and the Brooklyn native rattles off bar after bar over bone-shattering production.

On "God Level," Rose brings the vibes and delivers a downtown party feeling filled with debauchery he experienced in Lower Eastside and Brooklyn loft parties. Fresh off the released of his Concrete Rose mixtape last June, Manolo is gearing up for big 2016.

For the ninth episode of Ante Up, XXL had Manolo, French Montana and Trae Tha Truth over for the podcast to discuss the Houston Texans, the Houston Rockets, the history of sports in the H-town, the New York Knicks and Rockets rivalry, playing AAU basketball and favorite hip-hop movies.
