The collective hip-hop community had Kobe Bryant on the mind last night and all week, as the Los Angeles Laker great prepared to play in his final NBA game. While Kobe himself stunned audiences with 60 points, Madeintyo used the occasion to drop new music.

Produced by K. Swisha who helmed the boards for his "Uber Everywhere" smash, Madeintyo's latest pairs imagery of Kobe at his apex with that of his final game. While the cover art for "Whoeva" shows a young Kobe soaring, wearing number 8 and dunking, the song itself features the following lines, "Got a pool in the back, I don’t swim in it / Back house big enough to put the gym in it / Last game, feel like Kobe, gotta ball out / Top so good, hell yeah, I had to call out."

Previously, Madeintyo had linked up with Playboi Carti, Lil Yachty and UnoTheActivist to remix Chris Fresh's "What," while his own "Uber Everywhere" got the same treatment from Travis Scott back in February. Listen to "Whoeva" up above.

Last August, Madeintyo dropped his You Are Forgiven EP, which included "Uber Everywhere" in addition to the track “I Want” produced by Richie Souf (who also recently did songs for iLoveMakonnen like “Big Gucci” and “Where Your Girl At?”). There's no word yet on a major label deal or debut, but so long as the Atlanta rapper continues to build on his buzz, both are likely to come in the not too distant future.
