Say what you want about coming out of nowhere, but now that he's here, Lil Yachty is pumping out bangers. Over a spacey, auto-tuned beat, the red-haired rapper switches up his color scheme with the new track "Blue Hundreds" featuring Swaghollywood today (April 6). The Soundcloud track got posted on patllan's page, an account baring no other uploads at this time. Whether this is a fraudulent rip or a legit loosie still remains to be seen, but the beat is infectious, the lyrics are catchy and the replay value is strong.

"Blue Hundreds" comes less than a month after Yachty dropped his debut mixtape Lil Boat featuring ATL standouts Young Thug, Quavo, Skippa Da Flippa and more. The Quality Control signee has been popping up more and more since then. Just yesterday, Yachty dropped another track, "22" featuring JBan$ and Big Brutha Chubba. He also secured a verse on Rich The Kid's "Phone Tap Freestyle" and linked up with Virginia's big baby D.R.A.M. for "Broccoli." Yachty is also rumored to be working on Kanye West's upcoming album Turbo Grafx 16, as evident from this mysterious Instagram post of a studio session with Vic Mensa, Big Sean and Migos. In other words, Lil Boat is riding his wave to the fullest and making sure rap fans know he's here.

These releases are all a part of Yachty's full court press to stake his claim in 2016. When XXL spoke with the Atlanta rapper last month for The Break, he expressed gratitude for his fans thus far, but said he was determined to get out of the regional rap category.

"My main focus right now is to get out of this underground lane. Hit the mainstream, maybe crossover to EDM, I don’t even know right now, just global. I think global and world tours; I’m trying to touch everybody."
