Less than a month after releasing his mixtape Lil Boat with appearances by Young Thug and Quavo, Lil Yachty is back on the scene with a new track featuring JBan$ and Big Brutha Chubba. "22" is produced by Earl and has the Atlanta rapper shining a number of diamonds that exceed his 18 years in karats. With shoutouts to rising NBA star Andrew Wiggins of the Minnesota Timberwolves and buzzing D.C. rapper Yung Gleesh, the trio have their finger on the pulse of the youth movement. Check it above.

Boat is quickly on the fast track to stardom and is up for a spot on the 2016 XXL Freshmen List. In a March interview with XXL, Yachty said that his current goal is to become a household name and "Hit the charts a number of times. My main focus right now is to get out of this underground lane. Hit the mainstream, maybe crossover to EDM, I don’t even know right now, just global. I think global and world tours; I’m trying to touch everybody."

If he continues on his current trajectory, Yachty will be globetrotting before the end of 2016. The rising MC should also have a thick catalog of tracks to perform once he starts on his overseas excursion. Having already churned out his own debut tape, Yachty has Lil Boat and The Goat, a joint mixtape with Rich the Kid, coming soon.

He's also heading out on Young Thug's HiTunes tour starting in May. Though no announcement of a label deal has been made, Yachty is well situated with Coach K as his manager.
