There was a time when Lil Wayne's "Greatest Rapper Alive" claim actually held weight and you couldn't go anywhere without hearing a Weezy song on the radio or seeing him on a magazine cover and the top of the charts. Don't get it twisted, Wayne is still relevant as a pop culture icon, especially now that he has crossed over to doing commercials for cell phones, but back in '08 he was bar-for-bar, rhyme-for-rhyme, pound-for-pound one of the top artists in music. Period.

Over the past few months, Miami based producer Street Runner has brought us back to a certain place and time by releasing CDQ versions of tracks that leaked in the lead up to Weezy's highly-anticpiated Tha Carter 3 album. The latest drop is "Do It Again," which appeared on The Cartel's The Carter Meets The Cartel mixtape in the summer of 2007, and it is classic mixtape Wayne.

Over Street Runner's soulful beat, which features a sample from The New Birth's "Do It Again," the original Hot Boy shows why he is considered one of the best to ever do it.

"I know this song leaked Pre-Carter III. Not sure exactly when. I always had a love for this record. Super soulful vibe," writes Street Runner on his SoundCloud page.

Along with "Do It Again," the Florida producer has also let go of "Let's Talk It Over," "Trouble" and "Cry Out (Amen)." Hopefully he won't stop there and we'll have a slew of CDQ Wayne leaks to compile for a new mixtape. Check out the rest of the tracks below:
