Fool's Gold Records signee GrandeMarshall can't leave the trap alone as he teams up with Zaytoven for "JBM Freestyle." Over Zay's signature keys, Marshall goes in with no hook as he recounts the late nights and early mornings he's put in to take it from a little-known rapper to a buzzing MC on the underground scene. Fortunately, the hard work has come with a few perks as the rapper reveals he's looking very tan after a six-week hiatus. Listen as Marshall tries to stack money longer than Pippen's arms.

Marshall dropped his My Brother's Keeper album back in Nov. 2015 and welcomed GLC, Wara From the NBHD and Rome Fortune for guest spots. The project was his first since 2013's Mugga Man and the City of Brotherly Love MC explained why he decided to hold off on dropping music for two years.

"All this time I’ve taken ‘away from music’ has been an effort towards self realization, growth in varying aspect of my life, just working on becoming a better me,” he told The Fader in the lead up to My Brother's Keeper. “I’m a greater person than I will ever be an artist, and shit if it takes a year and some change to put that school of thought into an album, so be it. But I’ll never change, I’ll never compromise.”

Hopefully a new freestyle means a new project is in the works.
