OVO Sound's newest talent dvsn puts a spin on a classic Marvin Gaye record. Premiered on episode 18 of OVOSound Radio, dvsn played a short cover of Gaye's timeless "Let's Get it On" that features a slowed down instrumental paired with the the act's falsetto voice before a power guitar solo serves as the outro. It's never easy to cover a song as anthemic as "Let's Get it On," but the mysterious artist does a decent job of paying homage to the late, great Gaye.

dvsn took over OVOSound's airwaves with a DJ set that included tracks from Rihanna, Beyonce, R. Kelly, Usher, Ciara, Ginuwine, a remix of Aaliyah's "One in a Million" and cuts from the new album Sept. 5. After the show, dvsn dropped the new project, a nine-track effort that was released on Apple Music a few days before its scheduled April 1 date.

The latest edition of OVOSound Radio also featured cuts from Flying Lotus, Kanye West, the Section Boyz, Amir Obe, Lil Yacthy, Young Thug and more. Listen to episode 18 of OVOSound Radio via Apple Music's Beats 1 Radio.

There has been speculation that dvsn is an alter-ego for "Hotline Bling" producer Nineteen85. However, a source told Noisey that they are two different artists. The report did, however, say that Nineteen85 is involved in dvsn’s work.
