Queens artist Julian Stephen slows things down and drops "Streaming," an atmospheric R&B-driven vibe that makes you reminisce about your last Netflix and Chill session. "Streaming" is the first record off of his six-track EP Outsider The Demo, which is slated to drop late Spring. The Tim Wicked-produced record is a complete 180 from his more comical tracks like “Blind Date.”

"I wrote this record for multiple settings," he explained to XXL about the new record. "I legit want people to drink wine and smoke to it [while] having conversations over it and letting it add to the ambiance of a chill evening. I see women feeling sexy to it and that girl being creative in her room vibin' to it."

Before he dropped the new record, Julian spoke to Mass Appeal about the details on his new upcoming EP, Outsider The Demo:

[“Streaming”] is the first cut off of my 6-track EP, outsider the demo, set for a release later this spring. This is a Netflix & Chill theme song. Making this EP showed me that everything needs to be seamless and tie in each other to work, from cover art to concepts, lyrics, and beats

No one should be allowed to call themselves an artist without knowing their art. Now I find myself reading books on color just to understand its history if I want a scene to look a certain way. I’m sitting in restaurants arguing over wine about color tones, and even why an ass to tits ratio in my video is important because EVERYTHING MATTERS. Aesthetic is important to me and I treat it with care now. Music is more than verses, and “Streaming” is a vibe you can listen to in all settings. It’s just the start of a new chapter in my career, and outsider the demo is cohesive with many layers, and I’m excited to deliver the journey I created in six songs.
