While many of the rappers who were key cogs in Chicago's most recent rise on the rap scene have seemingly fallen to the wayside, G Herbo continues to keep it consistent. Today, the artist formerly known as Lil Herb drops the video for the previously unreleased track "Yea I Know."

Directed by Toinne, much of the video's footage is taped from atop a Chicago high rise. Herb and his mans and nem stunt for the camera as skyscrapers jut up in the background. The song is along the lines of most of the rapper's grim tales of life in the Chi, with Herbo spitting about the need to carry a weapon wherever he goes and the pain he feels for his fallen soldiers.

The Chicago rapper has been busy getting off material from his 2015 mixtape Ballin Like I'm Kobe including the videos for "Don't Worry" featuring Lil Bibby, "Ls," "Lord Knows" featuring Joey Bada$$ and "Bottom of the Bottom."

Herb is currently accompanying Pusha T on his Darkest Before Dawn Tour along with fellow Windy City native Lil Bibby. G will be part of the show until it breaks on April 6. The tour still has stops left in Dallas, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington D.C, New York, Boston and Chicago.

Could we get a new project from the 2016 XXL Freshman hopeful shortly after?
