While most of Jay Z's Kingdom Come album has escaped rap fan's memory banks, Charles Hamilton resuscitates Dr. Dre's looping keys for a new song, "Right Here," which utilizes the "Lost Ones" beat. Charles has a certain female on his mind, writing on the song's Soundcloud page, "…I think I got her."

Hamilton gets candid on the track, pairing his own experiences within the rap game with those of the person in question. On "Right Here," he raps, "The other side of the game is stressful / But you are on the other side despite the fact that you’re special / Me, I’ll ride a track and write the facts in my mind then let go." And later, the anxiety of acceptance stirs him as he raps, "I wake up from deep sleep / Wondering if indeed you need me."

Earlier this month, Charles Hamilton revealed a new blog and released a six track EP. Back in December, the once removed rapper dropped The Black Box EP, a four track offering that capped off a comeback year for the rapper. In February of 2015, Hamilton signed to Republic Records, a subsidiary of Universal. With a video out for his single "Down the Line" and a show at New York City's S.O.B.'s last May, it seems that Hamilton has fully returned to his music-making ways. Back in April of 2015, he had told XXL that he was nervous about getting back on the scene, but with multiple releases since, those nerves have perhaps fallen by the wayside.
