It's more clear than ever that Boogie isn't here for the bullshit. The Compton MC drops two new tracks today (March 14), "Catching Feelings" featuring Tink and "Out My Way (Bitter Raps 2)" to let his fans know just that."Catching Feelings," with assisted vocals from former XXL Freshman Tink, serves as a smooth, sentimental diary entry, while "Out My Way (Bitter Raps 2)" is clearly meant to call out the social media fads and frauds plaguing his generation.

"And I be fucking your plans up if I tell you to man up/Stop hitting all your home girls and saying "Let's 'gram up/Say you got a function that shit finna be lit/Crazy thing about it is you ain't never gon hit/Shit, I been sick of everything, starting to think this shit ain't healthy/Like woah, woah/You you bitches in your Instagram videos when y'all not talking/might as well just took a selfie."

These two contrasting heaters are the first new offerings of 2016 for Boogs. The laid back, lispy rapper dropped The Reach back in 2015, one of the best mixtapes of the year and soon signed to Interscope Records. When XXL caught up with Boogie for Show & Prove, he explained that his goal is to bring something different to West Coast hip-hop in 2016.

“I’m trying to leave my legacy as the greatest,” said Boogie back in October. “My main thing is to change the world. And I feel like my message can do that.”

Listen to Boogie's latest and be on the lookout at SXSW 2016 as he's on the lineup for a slew of festival stages.
