Big K.R.I.T. made an appearance on Mass Appeal's "Rhythm Roulette" series that still has people talking. Like many of the producers who appear on the web series, Krizzle crafted a dope beat. But the Mississippi rapper did one better and laid down some vocals on his creation. Since then, fans have been wanting to hear the full version of the track. Today (March 30), Big K.R.I.T. and Mass Appeal have delivered the goods.

"Sticks and Stones" arrives as a short but enjoyable track courtesy of Big K.R.I.T. The "Children of the World" rapper used I'm Yours by Linda Clifford, Waking Up With the House on Fire by Culture Club and a self-titled Seatrain album to create the beat heard on this song. As for the rhymes, Krizzle reflects on his early days as a rapper and producer.

"I'm thinking way back when, tryna make something out of nothing/When I'm jamming the music, well why you doing all that cussing/I'm like, that's a part of the game/Like when the 808 bang and knock yo pictures off the wall/And you get mad, I'm on some try to be better than what they expect/A country boy that like rap music, but keep Willie Hutch off in the deck/I know that's unorthodox, my flow/But sometimes the poetry's much better than a metaphor/And when the groove is right you gotta settle for/Cause you made this beat 30 minutes ago and that's just me," Big K.R.I.T. raps.

This impromptu track is just another example of the immense talent that Big K.R.I.T. possesses. The Meridian native celebrated the anniversary of his Return of 4eva project earlier this week with a new song called "So Bad." Make sure you listen to that record if you have not done so already.
