Last week, Bas dropped some new joints called "Clouds Never Get Old" and "Matches." The Dreamville artist continues the push for his new album with the release of the "Methylone" music video.

The Queens rapper brings the Ron Gilmore-produced single to life with the help of director Doubiago Bishara. The music video sees alternating shots of Bas in a room of mirrors and the MC in a dimly lit lounge. There's some fascinating imagery employed here as a yellow python is seen throughout the video.

It's an interesting pairing with the actual song, which sees Bas addressing the fake people he encounters in life on the second verse.

"Last week I bought a testing kit, I wish they made 'em for people / The way these n---as be acting they should be cast in a sequel / N---as phony they only give you dap just to reach you / I know ain't the first homie to have to tackle these issues / Hov told me D'evils / Got the best of him then, they get the best of me now / Without a Reasonable Doubt / When n---as acting irrational, hard to reason it out /I had to kick down the doors, I had to leave a few out / Door mat," Bas raps.

The "Methylone" video should only add to the hype surrounding Bas' sophomore album Too High to Riot. The project will be the New York native's first solo endeavor since his 2014 debut Last Winter. The new LP is scheduled to drop this Friday (March 4) on Dreamville Records and Interscope Records.
