Rick Ross Remixes Kanye West’s “Famous”

Rick Ross has managed to play it low key all year so far, only popping up in the headlines concerning his breakup with former fiancee Lira Galore and new recording contract with Epic. But the Bawse is ready to get down to work once again, dropping a remix to Kanye West track "Famous" off 'Ye's new album The Life of Pablo which features Rihanna and Swizz Beatz.

Ricky keeps parts of the original version of the song intact with Ri Ri's chorus and West's bridge, but inserts a mean 16 in the middle of track. Keeping true to his normal don status boasts the Miami MC raps, "Mind your business the killers can intervene/I'm half naked in the GQ magazine/Tours looking like its Wrestlemania/I'm The Rock setting fires to the stadium/Burn it down then I'm off to another beat/Might get engaged to a freak just for a couple weeks."

It appears as though Ross is coming to the aid of his protege Meek Mill as there might also be a subliminal shot at Drake in the lines. Toward the beginning of the verse Ross spits, "The aura arrogance is been known to fill the room/Boom, little nigga who are you?/Roc-A-Fella Records on record to kill a crew." This could be a reference to Drake's line on "Summer Sixteen" where he compares himself to Jay Z, a line Meek Mill also referenced and said the ghostwriter told him Drizzy would spit.
