Rome Fortune Considers His Work and Personal Life on “Love”

Fool's Gold artist Rome Fortune is gearing up drop his debut album Jerome Raheem Fortune, but before he does, he has a new single to offer up by way of "Love." Following the previously releases KAYTRANADA-produced single "Dance," the new track takes on Rome's work-life split as he raps about missing events in his child's life due to pursuing his career.

"I just imagine, like really imagine, if there can be a greater gift/I’m like actually, it’s not actually a damn thing I’d ever miss/Like your first step or your birthdays, actually I missed em both/But you gotta understand you must understand, my back was against the ropes," he raps in the opening verse of the Cubby-produced track. 

Jerome Raheem Fortune will be available Feb. 26 and can be preordered on iTunes now. Fool's Gold has announced that they will continue to release remixes to "Dance" in the lead up to Jerome Raheem Fortune and have released the album's tracklist, which can be seen below.
