Today (Jan. 20), the talented young Chicago rapper Noname Gypsy has unveiled a new single, the SPZRKT-featuring "All I Need." The song will serve as a single from Gypsy's upcoming project, Telefone; at press time, little information about that tape was available, but XXL will keep you up-to-date as it becomes available.

"All I Need" is a warm, slinking cut produced by Saba, THEMPeople and Phoelix. Saba is a budding Windy City star in his own right, having recently appeared on "Angels," the latest single from Chance the Rapper. (Gypsy became known to many listeners outside her hometown in 2013, when she had a show-stealing guest verses on Chance's breakout mixtape Acid Rap.) Phoelix is also an Illinois up-and-comer; THEMPeople have most recently been crafting songs with Mick Jenkins.

Late last year, Noname asked Saba to step in the recording booth for "Open Apology," a starkly personal song that also serves as a stylistic treatise. Prior to that, she was recruited along with the Los Angeles jazz and funk maestro Thundercat to aid Kirk Knight's "Dead Friends." This came after she, Knight, Saba and Jenkins criss-crossed the country on a major tour.

As for SPZRKT, he made headlines in some corners of the industry this week when he published an open letter announcing that he's "breaking up" with Christian hip-hop. Read those words from him in full courtesy of Rapzilla.
