Nef the Pharaoh spent 2015 making a name for himself as one of hip-hop's brightest young talents. The rising Bay Area star broke through with "Big Tymin," his single that pays tribute to the Louisiana rap scene, and his accompanying self-titled EP. Today (Jan. 8), he drops the Philthy Rich-assisted "#Saydaat," which serves as the first single from Neffy Got Wings, a collaboration with the producer Cardo.

Speaking to XXL last year, Nef said his goal in hip-hop is "to be a household name. I wanna be up there with the Jay Zs, the Biggies and the 2Pacs. I wanna be a living legend. I want everybody to know Nef like they know E-40, like they know Puff Daddy. I wanna be somebody who monopolizes the rap game." It appears as if he's well on the way.
