A$AP Rocky is stacking up quite the month. Off the success of the first annual Yams Day, it was announced that Rocky has been featured alongside supermodel Naomi Campbell in a magazine spread and rumors are circulating that the A$AP Mob leader will make an appearance on Kanye West's highly anticipated Waves next month. On Wednesday (Jan. 27) though, Rocky released a double dose of content, dropping off the video for "JD" and a new song with Pharrell titled "Hear Me."

In "JD," off Rocky's 2015 album At.Long.Last.A$APthe Harlem rapper gets animated, cruising the dark streets, melding reality with art similar to a-ha's "Take on Me" video. In "JD" though, the black backdrop deteriorates to show a full squad of dirt bikes and ATVs. If Rocky is channelling the spirit of James Dean, he certainly does the actor justice with his artistic expression. The video was directed by Awge, A$AP Rocky and Dexter Navy, with animation provided by Aniports.

In addition to the video, Rocky also released a collaboration with Pharrell, though the producer/rapper/Voice judge makes a minimal impression on the track, offering a spoken hook. Rocky is his usual jiggy self on the song, rapping, "Black dark shades black leather jacket bad chick on my arm got me looking like the Fonz (hear me)/We the champions and about to get a ring same size as Lebron’s (hear me)." Both the video and the track show Rocky not missing a beat in delivering visuals and sonics of a higher caliber. Catch the video above and the track below and keep an eye out for from Rocky, who's playing the Sasquatch festival as well as Coachella this summer.
