One week from today (on Dec. 11), August Alsina will pull back the curtain on This Thing Called Life, the sophomore album that he's described as a "ghetto gospel." The 2014 XXL Freshman tapped Lil Wayne, Jadakiss and Anthony Hamilton, among others, to contribute vocals to what the artist hopes to be a multi-purpose record in every way. "I want you to be able to fuck to the album," he recently told XXL. "I want you to be able to cry to the album, I want you to be able to heal from the album, I want you to be able to hurt from the album.” Today (Dec. 4), the singer lets go of two new singles from the record. The first, "Dreamer," is airy and expansive, while "Been Around the World" features Chris Brown and interpolates Puff Daddy's track of the same name. Listen to each below:
