Rotimi, a star of the 50 Cent-produced Starz drama Power, has released the music video for his latest single, "Potential." Officially referred to as a "short film," the clip stars the singer as a promising but lazy man who is quickly becoming a nuisance to his career-driven girlfriend; by the song's resolution, he's putting on a dress shirt and hauling resumes out the door.

The single comes roughly a month after the G-Unit signee dropped the nine-song mixtape Royal WednesdayThat set featured "Lotto," a collaboration with 50, whom Rotimi has previously referred to as his mentor.

Prior to his work on Power, Rotimi was a principal cast member on the Starz drama Boss, which starred Kelsey Grammer and T.I. As for work on the big screen, he has starred in the Sundance hit Imperial Dreams, which was scored by the Los Angeles producer Flying Lotus.

"Potential" can be purchased on iTunes or streamed on Spotify.
