G Herbo aka Lil Herb is doing what he does best on this new track called "Just Bars Pt. 2." Herbo lets a smooth beat guide him as he gets introspective while putting together some slick rhymes along the way. The Chicago MC mentions that he's been recording in New York, so that's the likely reason this has been dubbed the "NYC Edition."

G Herbo is one of the most impressive young rappers in the game today and seems poised for big things going forward. He released an excellent mixtape called Ballin' Like I'm Kobe this year which continued to show his growth. Herbo spoke to XXL recently and recognized his growth, but made it clear he's going to stick to the substance his content as always contained.

"I mean I grow as I do more and see more compared to when I first started rapping," Herbo said. "I’ve grown tremendously since then and I’m going to continue to the further I go in my career, the more I see shit and experience shit. The more I learn, of course my music is going to grow but I still want to stay the same. I want to stick to my core fanbase. I still want to talk about my life and what I’ve been through even if I’m not struggling anymore. Even if it was possible for me to live a life stress free, I would still talk about what I’ve been through and what it took to be living the type of lifestyle that I’m living. It’s just a matter of me seeing more and doing more. You’re going to be able to tell what I got going on. I rap about my life and I don’t sugar coat shit.
