Belly Gets Dark in “Dealer Plated” Video with French Montana

Belly immediately jumped on everyone's radar when he inked a deal with Roc Nation. The Canadian rapper is no rookie though as he earned a Juno Award for Best Rap Recording of the Year back in 2007 for his debut album. More recently, Belly co-wrote six songs on The Weeknd's album The Beauty Behind The Madness including the hit single "The Hills." But after joining Roc Nation, Belly is hoping to ascend to new heights

The music video to "Dealer Plated" represents Belly's introduction to a whole new audience intrigued by his signing with Jay Z's imprint. The French Montana assisted track was released back in May, but will surely gain another level of attention now. The music video is very dark with just a few shots of streets lights, Belly blowing smoke and the rapper hanging with French Montana in the car. It's an interesting choice for Belly as there's no bells and whistles here in the video. Belly looks to make an impression with his music.
