Starlito went back to his Theories mixtape, which dropped last December, to create a powerful music video for the project's title track. The song was inspired by the shooting of Mike Brown and Starlito went to Ferguson to shoot this video. Brown's father Mike Brown Sr. even makes a brief cameo as Starlito met up with during his time in Ferguson and St. Louis.

The Nashville rapper looks at the tragic death of Brown, the reactions it sparked within the black community and his frustrations when told to be the better man in the midst of these life or death situations. Starlito also stresses the importance of making music like this now in a scene dominated by turn-up songs. Starlito raps, "I don't make music to be played in the clubs/Sad, sound like I'm sleeping, trying to wake a n---a up."
