The iron is hot for young Chicago's Saba. After appearing alongside Chance the Rapper on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert late last month, the 21-year-old Saba drops a joint video for two cuts off 2014's ComfortZone. In the first half, for "Timezone," Saba gets dressed and leaves his crib, passing friends by. Later on, he takes the scenic route for "Whip," parking off on the side of the road to beam up into an interplanetary field. As he's floating through space, various influences like Bone Thungz N Harmony's E. 1999 Eternal and a DVD of Training Day coast past, but the greater influence is in the subtext. The cosmic aura and galactic backdrop look a whole lot like Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor artwork, where he too is surrounded by various objects of influence.

Saba will be closing out his run for ComfortZone with the above video and a headlining show at Abbey Pub in Chicago on November 21st. Future projects will drop in 2016.
