Those who followed his mixtape run that began in 2009 remember Freddie Gibbs as modern gangsta rap's foremost realist. The dissolution of a major label deal led to one of the most unflinching catalogs in the industry, and eventually, a return to the mainstream. Last year, he took a significant next step with Pinata, his full-length collaboration with the legendary Los Angeles producer Madlib. Along with the increased commercial exposure, Pinata showcased Gibbs' superb technical ability. Now, the Gary native is set to return with Nov. 20's Shadow of a Doubt.

Gibbs dropped two songs from that project today (Nov. 11). The first is the Black Thought-featuring "Extradite," while the second, "Packages," sports a contribution from ManMan Savage. Shadow of a Doubt also features Gucci Mane, E-40, Tory Lanez and more.
