With Chief Keef chasing whichever muses he pleases in Los Angeles and with Atlanta once again wrestling away the eyes and ears of the rap-listening public, Chicago's drill scene has been largely ignored by the national press. But that doesn't mean that its chief practitioners have slowed down. Already this fall, G Herbo--the artist formerly known as Lil Herb--has dropped the stellar Ballin' Like I'm Kobe. His longtime partner, Lil Bibby, is gearing up for the release of his highly-anticipated Free Crack 3. And Lil Durk is still riding the wave of his July debut on Def Jam, Remember My Name. But instead of rest on his laurels, Durk has stayed in the studio, and is set to release a new mixtape called 300 Days & 300 Nights. The Nito Beats-produced "Industry" follows "My Beyonce," a single that pairs Durk with his girlfriend (and fellow XXL Freshman) DeJ Loaf.
