Cousin Stizz has gained a lot of buzz over the past year and looks poised to become a major player in hip-hop. The Massachusetts rapper earned a new audience when Drake played Stizz's song "Shoutout" at his birthday party. Capitalizing on that recognition, Stizz released his breakthrough project Suffolk County this past summer. Now, Stizz looks to keep the hot streak going with the new track "Cheddar Bring" produced by Dumdrumz.

XXL recently spoke to Stizz about his career aspirations. Stizz let it be known that he wanted to be an original.

"I’m going to be the first Stizz," he said. "I can’t really look up to anyone in hip-hop. I love a bunch of people’s music, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t know them like that to say I look up to them. I don’t really look up to anyone from where I stay at so I can’t really look up to a rapper. I can only look up to myself and put those expectations on myself to be great."
