This Friday (Nov. 13) will mark 11 years since Ol' Dirty Bastard passed away after an accidental drug overdose at RZA's recording studio in New York. The Wu-Tang Clan's brilliant id left behind two studio albums, and a third--the long-rumored A Son Unique--in limbo. Where some late rappers become the center of a cottage industry of posthumous albums and box sets, ODB has been left mostly as he lived: bouncing from kick to snare drum on some of the most exciting rap music of the 1990s. Now, RZA has unearthed a new song that was intended for Return To the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version, ODB's 1995 solo debut. The cut was originally called "Bitches Better Obey Me," but has been cleaned up to "Obey Me" for its release via the Boombot personal speaker. While the studio version is not yet available to the public, fans can see the video for the Sash'U remix, included above.
