Atlanta has been dominating hip-hop with the trap rap style of heavy melody and autotune use. EarthGang has emerged from the pack by going back to Atlanta's roots with a style more akin to the early Dungeon Family than the duo's contemporaries. In a way, Johnny Venus and Doctur Dot are going back to the basics while putting a modern twist on them. By offering something different in rap's current hot spot, it's no surprise EarthGang has turned some heads.

EarthGang's latest album Strays With Rabies is already gaining plenty of recognition and the duo keeps that momentum going with the release of their "Liquor Sto'" music video. The two take this standout record from the album and give it some powerful imagery. The music video depicts a man's inner child trying to stop him from committing a robbery. Things don't go as planned and the man is shot. The video transforms him back into a child, collapsing outside the liquor store from a bullet wound. It's poignant moment and goes to show the level that EarthGang is operating on right now.
