Raury calls on Big K.R.I.T. for "Forbidden Knowledge." The 2015 XXL Freshman races with the beat as he drops knowledge on forbidden truths. "Forbidden knowledge is too great for a man," says Raury in the opening seconds of the track. He then goes on to question the way we function as a society in both social and political aspects. "There's a universe in her afro/Hold us back tho/There's power in the Black folk/Well that's forbidden knowledge/At first they wanna keep us separate by equal/But it's not, so we fight against the hatred and evil/Now they let us think we got it and they killin' our people/While this history repeat like a sequel/Well that's forbidden knowledge," he raps. Once K.R.I.T. comes in, he also has several questions of his own, like, "Who put the liquor store across the street from the gun shop?" The track not only bumps, but makes you seriously consider the rappers' lyrics. "I think the agenda's meant to kill us all/Now what good is education when you can ball?" asks K.R.I.T. Take a listen to the track above and get ready to take some notes.

"Forbidden Knowledge" is featured on Raury's forthcoming debut album, All We Need. The LP hits shelves on Oct. 16. The young MC shared the cover art and tracklist for his LP last month. Preorder your copy now over on iTunes.
