The Los Angeles Kings can finally exhale. Last year, after two Stanley Cups in three seasons, the Darryl Sutter-coached team missed the playoffs for the first time this decade. They lost two key members of the championship squads to a domestic violence case (and subsequent deportation to Russia) and a prescription drug trial, respectively. But with their victory in Edmonton last night (Oct. 25) the Kings have now won five games in a row and settled a rocky start. More importantly, their jersey appears here on the cover of Young Thug's latest single, the Goose-produced "Phoenix." Though not slated to appear on Thug's forthcoming Slime Season 2, the song continues the Atlantan's superhuman 2015 run. XXL reached out to Goose, who had the following to say: "I love to bring a side out of Young Thug that other producers dont. We push each other to that next level." Expect more banners in the rafters soon.
