Your Old Droog drops a new track, "Before I Go." The freestyle finds the Brooklyn rapper reflecting on his time as an aspiring artist over the years. He raps about meeting other artists, sharing his music across the net, battle rapping, staying up late to work on his skills and more. "Before I Go" is dope storytelling of Droog's journey and grasps your attention as he brings you in with nostalgic bars.

The second part of the track really takes you back to the early 2000's. He takes a moment to pick a bone with the rap game. "While they alive, y'all be playing them/ Then when they die, every car that pass by is playing 'em/Outta respect I ain't saying no names/Most of the game is lames/We spittin flames and they call it wack/Son keep it a buck/Before he died, you wasn't feelin' dude like that,Facts/And a bunch of these corny ass cats/Waited 'til he went in to say they liked Max/I'm like, 'No', I don't want mine to be that slow/I just hope that you give me my roses before I go," raps Droog. Think he's got a point? Take a listen above.
