Listen to Dougie F Feat. Pitbull, “On Purpose”

New Jersey rapper Dougie F is another artist out of the Garden State to keep an eye out for. Fresh off the release of his Block Party EP, he follows up with the party track featuring Pitbull, "On Purpose." With 40 Cobras on the production providing an uptempo dance instrumental, Dougie F and the Cuban super star get live by no accident.

What else isn't an accident is the number of new artists coming out of Jersey currently. "There’s a bunch of other artists that have their lane, but as far as the music, I create," Dougie told XXL last month. "The sound doesn’t sound like Fetty or whatever other Jersey artists that’s working, but that’s just based off of me and where I travel to and the life I live. The concepts are different, the vocal presence is way different. But there’s a Jersey thing, we got the wave right now.
