DeJ Loaf Treats Men “Like A H*e” in New Video

For a woman who may be the shortest rapper in the game, DeJ Loaf sure talks a big game. In the "Like A Hoe" video, DeJ is at her most menacing. Surrounding by big money and big guns, the Detroit MC talks super greasy in the stripped down video that gets straight to the point. Loaf continues her breakout 2015 with another strong visual. One of the biggest moments of Loaf's 2015 was her appearance on XXL's yearly Freshman Cover. The rapper spoke to XXL about blowing up this year and her approach to music after her hit "Try Me" blew up everywhere. "I don’t come in expecting people to just love me," she said. "I get that everybody isn’t going to like what you do. I have to make music for me first instead of trying to please everybody. You can’t please everybody. I can only be so much. Like, I put this out and hopefully you’ll like it. It’s like I did with 'Try Me; and that blew up. I just did that for me, it was just how I felt and the world loved it so I’m still just going by that. I’m not chasing hits and like I said, that song just came about."
