By 2006, Yo Gotti was on the peripheries of rap's mainstream. His second retail album, Back 2 da Basics, sported guest appearances by the then-ubiquitous Jazze Pha, Bun B, 8 Ball during he and MJG's commercial renaissance, and Lil Wayne and Birdman when they were nearing the peak of their power. He never quite cracked all the way through. Nearly a decade later, the Memphis MC is prepping his new solo set, The Art of Hustle, and he's doing it with the new generation of Cash Money star. "Rihanna" pairs Gotti with Young Thug. The latter, still playing with only face cards, squawks and warbles all over the beat (and, in the video, the bannisters), rattling off yet another show-stopping cameo. The clip is one for the ages, by the way--what else do you expect when you invite Boosie to the table and serve a plate of bankrolls?
