Lupe Fiasco just dropped the previously hinted at project Pharaoh Height 2/30. Lu previewed the cover art and track list for the project two months ago on Instagram with no explanation. Today, he releases the mixtape for your listening pleasure. The six-song tape is featureless allowing the Chicago MC to wash over listeners with some though-provoking bars and concepts.

With this project, Lu is following up on a nearly nine-year-old mixtape series that dropped before most people knew who the Chicago lyricist was. Previous to releasing his debut Lupe Fiasco's Food and Liquor in 2006, he self-released three projects titled, Fahrenheit 1/15 Part I: The Truth Is Among Us, Fahrenheit 1/15 Part II: Revenge Of The Nerds and Fahrenheit 1/15 Part III: A Rhyming Ape.

Fiasco dropped his last project, the album, Tetsuo & Youth in January and the LP peaked at No. 2 on Billboards U.S. rap albums chart. The "The Show Goes On" rapper has stayed visible this year, especially on social media where he has offered his thoughts on a number of popular topics including the Charleston Church Massacre and Drake's ghost writing allegations. He hasn't been afraid to get into a 140 character rumble either, having gotten into it with Kid Cud and Azealia Banks on Twitter.

But for now we focus on the bars.
